It can be a challenge to find clothes appropriate for a Jewish, Torah observant lifestyle. I've been collecting an assortment of possibilities, so I thought I'd share my research. Please note, I haven't bought stuff from all of these sites. If I have, I'll mention it. For the crafty among us, I've got links for making your own headcoverings. This includes Shoshana's snood pattern, that I often use to make my own snoods.

The OU is maintaining a site with a list of Shop In Israel links at their Israel Shopping Mall. Please consider helping their economy so battered by terrorism. Another great resource is ShopInIsrael.com.

I've joined the "affiliate" programs in some of the various stores listed. It won't change your purchase price if you choose to order, nor will it change my criteria in choosing what will be listed here. I just mention it for the sake of being up front.

Deva Lifewear An assortment from mostly all-natural fabrics. I've ordered some skirts here.	TravelSmith This site is aimed at travelers, the clothes are conservative. They have an overstocks section, as well. Reccomended by a satisfied customer.

JCPenney It's a bit harder to find appropriate clothes here - the selection is more trendy. The quality is mid-range as are the prices.

Clothes for girls
I've been having an increasingly difficult time finding dresses and skirts for my girls as they get older. Here are some places that have clothing that can be appropriate (both for their age - they are NOT small women, and for general issues of modesty).
